CMR University is promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust and is established as a private University at Bengaluru through the Karnataka Government by CMR University Act, 2013. CMR University UG Programme

• CMR University offers B.Arch. B.A. (Hons). , BBA/BBA (Hons), BCA, B.Com/B.Com (Hons)., B.Sc., LL.B (Hons), and B.Tech/B.Tech (Hons) in various specializations.
• The students who have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) are eligible for the undergraduate programmes.

CMR University PG Programme

• CMR University offers various postgraduate programmes such as MBA, MBA Executive, M.Tech., M.Com. M.Sc. (Psychology), MSW, LL.M., MA
• The students who have passed Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) are eligible for postgraduate programmes.

CMR University Doctorate Programme

• CMR University offers PhD programme in following specializations:

• The students who have passed Master’s Degree in respective fields with minimum 55% marks aggregate are eligible for the Doctoral Programmes.

CMR University Admissions

CMRU admission mode simple and easy. There is both online and offline mode of taking admission at CMRU.

• ONLINE MODE- Students can fill the application form by clicking the link provided on the official site of CMR University for any particular programme.
• OFFLINE MODE- In the offline mode students have to reach at the campus for the entire admission procedure.

Above was the general mode of admission for every programme available at CMR University. But students who wish to take admission in B.Tech course can opt for any of the following processes:

• Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process
• COMEDK and Selection Process
• CMRUAT

CMR University Scholarships

 Each year CMRU provides a number of scholarships to the deserving students on the basis of needs, merit, sports, leadership, etc. A little glimpse of the scholarship provided are as follows:

• CMR Memorial Scholarship- The CMR Memorial Scholarships are awarded to students with financial need, as determined by the CMR Scholarship Committee. It is a merit cum means scholarship. This financial aid comes from a dedicated scholarship fund of the CMR Jnanadhara Trust. Any student who comes from an economically weak background, and/or from a rural area is eligible to apply. 
• CMR Merit Scholarship- This scholarship is for both UG and PG students. The students with an outstanding academic track record will be considered for CMR Merit Scholarship.
• CMR Leadership Award- This scholarship is awarded to an all-rounder student who is good not only in studies but also in sports, behavior, soft skill, etc.
• CMR Sports Scholarship- This scholarship is provided to promote sports activities among college students for state and national level sports events.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Admissions to First Semester LL.B. programme shall be open to the applicants who have secured not less than 40% in case of SC/ST, 42% in case of OBC and 45% in case of General Category in a degree programme (10+2+3/4/5 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent examination recognized by the University.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The overall aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 standard or equivalent examinations or CLAT and LSAT scores. Candidates who do not have CLAT/ LSAT score will have to take Ansal University Law Entrance Test (AULET). Candidates expecting their result may also apply
